A visionary leader and manager, Tarik is well known for his special ability in strategy formulation, stakeholder engagement and project implementation. He has the experience of working with most of the donor agencies in Bangladesh ranging from donor organizations like DFID, World Bank, IFC and UN bodies (UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA), International organizations (FHI, JHUCCP, SMC) and government organizations. He has extensive work experience in Bangladesh and had also worked in UN projects in Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. His specializations include planning and implementation of strategic behavior change communication, interpersonal communication, community mobilization, social branding, integrated marketing communication & policy advocacy programs. Prior to this, he was Executive Director at Unitrend Limited – a top-5 advertising agency in Bangladesh.
A reflective professional with an eye for insights, strategic thinking skills and a keen interest in history, Adnan has 14 years of progressive management and marketing expertise in branding, marketing, behavior change communications and advertising in general. With complimenting degrees in Business Administration and Development Economics – he thrives on new fields of learning, models of change and schools of thought in social science. Adnan has worked with FMCG companies like Unilever and media organizations like The Daily Star, where he is now a regular columnist. As the Head of Strategic Planning at the local McCann affiliate, he handled brands like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Nescafé and City Bank. Adnan has given talks and conference presentations on behavior change communication in three different countries beyond Bangladesh and worked on projects in Uzbekistan and Kenya.
Writer, playwright, designer, director, photographer and leader of the Palakar Theater Group – Mukul is a man of many talents. A creative head with actionable solutions, he has worked for all major donors in the country and has produced ground breaking campaigns for many clients. He is one of the pioneers in street theater and regularly conducts trainings. Having directed numerous films and TV spots, Mukul is known for his versatile creativity in the development communication sector. Mukul’s extensive experience in health communication, HIV-AIDS campaigns, MNH and IYCF, education communication, private sector development, democracy and governance was earned in Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. In 2015 and 2016, Mukul released two short-films, both of which have won multiple awards, including the ‘Best Director’ award at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival.
